Message but it wont stop dealers from taking advantage of needy rich guys with big walletts.

I remember the C5's firts went on sale, 5-10k mark up over msrp. Every last one was sold off of the order sheet, sight unseen, much less test driven (and ALL automatics).

We got a used 6 speed in one day with 3500 miles on it, almost no options, conservative suspension package, no glass roof panel, base stereo, not even automatic climate controls IIRC. This thing might have literally been the cheapest equipped corvette you could buy (prior to the hardtops being introduced). We sold it for 43k I believe, well above what it listed for new. People wanted manuals and the '97 models sold out of them in no time, leaving the used ones to sell for a premium.

But hey, if you're P Diddy, buy that shit, what else you gonna do with your money? Help out poor people? pft yea right.
